Some have a difficult time tweaking their browsers for maximum effectiveness. Now we aren't going to setup your browsers for you, but, here are some tips to ensure this. The important things to remember are cookies, loading a new version on every visit, minimizing your temp, and enable certain settings. As long as you have your settings all correct, it will work like a charm. And remember, delete your cookies and temp; then close the browser and reopen fresh. This ensures that there is no past data in it.
Internet Explorer Settings 1. Go to your Tools Menu and click Internet Options 2. Click Settings and Check the boxes listed below.
3. Cookies. Myspace is flaky, so you need to set your computer to accept cookies correctly.
4. Security Settings. We only recommend this for when you are running the script. Go to security settings and enable all Active X Controls and all Java controls. If you were to inadvertently browse some some advertising site like yahoo, you'd probably end up with adware/spyware on your computer.
Other Tips Forcing the player to count every play Very few have had problem with their numbers not increasing. This is due to the myspace cookie not timing out like it should or they have just not followed the directions above. So, if you feel it is absolutely necassary to force the player, just block myspace.com in your cookie settings. Do note, that if you use IE to login to myspace, you need to un block this before you do so.
